For his greatest victory in the last fifteen years as a poker player Victoria, B.C.’s Dean Jackson took down a field of over 140 players to secure the crown of the $1,100 No Limit Texas Holdem Main Event of the Pacific Poker Shootout. Held at the Cascades Casino last weekend, the Pacific Poker Shootout paid out more than $40k to the winner out of a prize pool of more than $300k. A shootout is different than most No Limit Texas Holdem tournaments in that each player has to win the table they are sitting at before they move on to a new table.
