While the 2008 World Series of Poker was going on, online poker room Bodog Poker was holding their Bodog Poker Mini Series, where players were picking up seats to the 2009 WSOP a year in advance. The Mini Series mirrored the actual events of the WSOP in Las Vegas, but with buy ins at one hundredth of the price.
