A prize pool of over three million dollars was accumulated for Event #44, a $1,000 No Limit Texas Holdem event, which breaks the World Series of Poker record for prize pools in this event. The $3.2 million prize pool came from the 879 players, 81 of which finished “in the money” meaning they won a cash prize.
