The Illusion

Items needed: 1 52-card stand deck

What this trick will do is create the illusion that you can read their mind and find out what card they are thinking of.

Start this trick off by shuffling the deck. Let them check out and look through the deck, so they know it is no way rigged. When you take the deck back, look and remember the bottom card!

Spread the cards in your hands using two hands. Have the deck in one hand clinched by your thumb and middle finger. With the other hand put four fingers on top and put the thumb under it. These fingers will be used to move the cards.

Tell them that you will stop when they tell you to. Once they say stop take your four fingers and drag the cards in your hand from it. Also take the bottom card and make sure that is the one they see. Tell them to memorize the card and then tell them to put the cards back anywhere they want. Once you get the deck back shuffle it look through the deck. Take as long or as short as you want. Once you find the card ask them “Is this your card?” They will be amazed! I have done this card trick before and had people make me look up into the son or have my eyes blindfolded.
